Bounce ideas and impressions off each other!
Let's Discussing!
We know the Siliconera crowd has thoughts on games like The Last Story, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation, and Catherine. We've seen awesome impressions pop up in the comments, but there wasn't an area on the site for sharing those.

Enter Bounce, the community driven area of Siliconera where readers can post impressions and gameplay tips. In other words, think of Bounce as an extension of the "Let's Playing" posts that appeared on the site every now and then.

That plus a place to create a reader a poll, ask questions, and start your own discussion threads.

Bounce is still a work in progress, but after reading all of the heartwarming comments in the Valentine's day post we thought we would open Bounce now and upgrade it as the community drives its direction.

Let's Bouncing!

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge [X-Box 360]
For those who may not know, this is the update to Ninja Gaiden 3 released earlier this month across the PS3 and 360 platforms. Originally it was meant to be a Wii U exclusive, but Team Ninja decided to port it. I think that was a great idea, because I do not think this game is worth buying a whole new system. Team Ninja managed to fix some of the ailments found in the original NG3, adding …

Angry Birds - Rovio Mobile
When I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet (10.1 inch model) last November, I had to download Angry Birds off Google Play's store.       This game is like crack.  This game is fun, but it's too addicting.  Who would have thought that a game where you use various types of birds as slingshot fodder to attack evil green pigs and their dwellings would catch on …
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds: Special
Doctor Doom of the Marvel Universe joins forces with Albert Wesker of the Capcom Universe, in an attempt to take over both worlds. The heroes representing both of these realities unite to stop them. But there's a greater menace approaching that threatens the very existence of these worlds.-summary         Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a sequel that was long over-due. It …

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. has been considered a classic in the world of videogames, and rightfully so.  Despite its 8 bit limitations, this game brought about a lot of fun, replayability, decent graphics (for its time), a catchy soundtrack, and challenge that's all balanced perfectly.      I think Super Mario Bros. 3 is the best of all the Mario games, but this is still a superb …

Crysis Warhead
Crysis Warhead is a good tie-in with the first Crysis game.  Despite being shorter and not quite as diverse as Crysis (such as the fact that you don't drive a tank in this game), Crysis Warhead has more adrenaline pumping through it, and even has some exclusive weapons and vehicles that spice up the gameplay.      Sadly, if you're not a PC gamer, you won't be able …

Crysis 2
While Crysis 2 isn't quite as good as its predecessor, this is a solid sequel.  The only real drawback to the game is that the "open world" factor has been cut back a bit and there's less versatility in what vehicles you can take control of.  However, it earns some big points with its more solidified, developed storyline, meaner enemies (particularly the Seph creatures), …

Cover Art
This is one of the best FPS titles to come out in the last ten years or so.       While the storyline for Crysis wasn't exactly a work of art, what made this game such a masterpiece is its impressive graphics (which still look good today), open-world environment, and extremely versatile gameplay.  Your combat suit offers a smorgasbord of ways to fight, as does various …

NINJA GAIDEN II is the sequel to the acclaimed 2004 action title NINJA GAIDEN, itself a reboot of the classic series from the NES, which was in itself an adaptation of an arcade game. Like its predecessor (the Xbox one), the game stars Ryu Hayabusa on a mission of death and destruction as he seeks to eliminate the Greater Fiends (the devils), and their companions the Black Spider Ninja's, from the …

Anime
Anime is a genre that gets a lot of flak from mainstream audiences, most of who've have either never seen an anime all the way through or have been exposed to only a certain kind, namely the more children oriented Dragon Ball Z/Nurito type (no disrespect to fans intended) or the pervert Hienti/tentacle rape variety. Stereotypes for anime and the main stream misconception of what it offers TV and movie …

Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind
Please note that this review is for the Sega Genesis port of Bubsy the Bobcat.      Bubsy the Bobcat is one of those games in life where you love it as a kid, but hate as an adult after replaying the game and realizing just how bad it is. Back in the 90's, this was a game I played a lot and actually thought was fun back in the day. However, just like I said earlier, looking …

Apple Inc.
First of all, I'd like to say that I'm NOT a fanboy for Microsoft and PCs, I just hate Apple.      I don't like Apple for many reasons.  One of them is for the fact that for what you get in the products they sell, you get horribly price-gouged.  I'm not joking, I have an Alienware Aurora gaming desktop with an i7 Quad Core 2.66 gHz processor, dual …

Ren and Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention
Back in the 90's, I was one of the biggest Ren and Stimpy fans. Naturally, when I found out this game existed, I rented it and had way too much fun with it, though it wouldn't be until 1998 where I would buy a copy of this game at the nearest used videogame shop. As I got older, I decided to check out some other Ren and Stimpy games I initially missed out on, such as Fire Dogs and Buckaroo$, …
